Where is it?

The game we were told was being released? The game thats been released is a dumbed down game from whats in the screenshots!

From what I can see from the screenshots etc, the game was built to what people expected, then the devs went backwards

I'm pretty sure those screenshots count as advertising, and as the screenshots are making that out the product has features that it doesn't actually have then that would mean its false advertising, which i'm pretty sure isn't allowed in the UK.

I've written to the DTI so hopefully they can clear up this matter.

You are right indeed, I send a mail to codemasters customer support. In Holland it's not allowed as wel to make false advertisements.

So just curious what is there missing? I haven't followed the advertising for this game at all, I came across it in a toystore by accident and since I loved theme hospital decided to take the chance and buy it. So I have no idea what was advertised but is not in the game, but now you make me curious. :P

You can see for yourself on the screenshots on the main hospital tycoon website.

It has shots of a busy hospital, and patients using wheelchairs.

EDIT - The DTI has been in touch, they've refered me to my local trading standards office so i'll be speaking with them tomorrow.

I went to check right after I posted and yeah it looks very different from the real game. No wheelchairs in my game and no busy hospital either or people sitting in chairs. they only go sit when they are really ill. Which was the first thing I noticed in the game...loads of seating but no one wants to sit.

it seems zoomed out futher as well..
spare wheelchairs..
they look like they could be fmvs or in game cut scenes to me
interested to see how officials respond to this thread...
