Default Error Installing Grid

I just bought the game and when i try to install it, i get to about 30% and an error comes up 0x45d, then my computer is non responsive until i do a hard reboot.
I tried several times and it jams at a different file every time.

Specs:
Core 2 Duo E8400
8 gigs of Gskillz ram
Visiontek 4870HD
Asus P5q pro
Audigy 2 soundcard
Vista home 64 bit

Ok, guess you could go back to the store you bought GRID from and tell them game will not install and you think you might have a bad disk. They should exchange your "bad" disk and give you a new DVD disk to try.
