Grid REALLY laggy

ok i just got grid and for some reason, when i press the arrow buttons to move the car, i get a response about half a sec later

and when i was typing in my name in-game, i typed my name and half a sec later all the letters appeared, as tho my comp was workin at 110% to keep up with the game

i was running the game on medium settings
my laptop

vista 32bit
8600M GT
4 gig ram
dual 2.5 ghz

so im pretty sure my laptop can handle the game.... but im not sure why its running so slow

i have the latest graphic drivers, vista sp1 and ive done a disk frag to speed up my pc

i just played CSS with 200fps.. so my laptop is running fine, its just slow with grid for some reason

any ideas?

You just need turn graphic setting to low to medium then test if smoothly or not, also test with resolution too, if still issue then check your usage of RAM.

If you see RAM usage is greater then just close any apps before run game.

I don't have any problem with my PC desktop, it running so smooth on 1.0 version with high graphic setting.
