G.R.I.D. Sponsor issues

Can someone please help with the following issue:

Everytime I go into my team and change my sponsors, the game crashes out and I don't know why.

System specs are as follows:

Toshiba Satellite X205-S9349

CPU: Intel Centrino Duo 1.8GHz
RAM: 4GB DDR2 667MHz
Video: nVidia 8700M GT with 256MB with up to 1GB as needed
HDD: 2 x 120GB SATA
Monitor: 17" Widescreen @ 1440x900

I have tried turning everything down, or off, and it makes no difference.

try turning the music off if you have it on i had the same problem and found that after turning the music off i could change them without crashing hope this works for you as well
