Error Message

Hi guys, I'm new to these parts and have purchased Grid, I am not sure if this problem has been posted on here before, Anyway here goes, I double click the Grid icon from my Desktop and get a message asking me if i want to report the problem or not, I have downloaded the shiny new patch for the game but to no avail, My PC wizard brother suggested i upgrade my memory and a better graphics card as mine was a little under the spec, So i now have 2GB memory and a HIS ATI Radeon HD 3850 PRO TURBO 512 MB GDDR3, But that has'nt seemed to cure the problem, My brother Hooked up to PC from his office and had a play around with setting and patches, But we still get the error message. I you need to know what the error message is exactly let me how to and i will post it.

Hi Emo. Suggest trying to run the game from the install directory as opposed to the shortcut from the desktop. See if that works.

hey that looks like the problem i had hers my solution right click on the grid.exe go to properties and then click on compatibility and run the game in windoes 98 mode ..let me know is that work for ya ....be advised that you wont be able to change resolution in this mode 800x600 only...
