Default Was the sensivity changed in patch 1?

I just installed patch 1.1 now I keep steering lock to lock with my gamepad... I used to be a lot more sensitive. I did not change the saturation levels.

Did codemasters change the sensitivity?

I am using a speedlink Bullfrog gamepad (like a ps2 controller).

No they did not but, they did put in a work around for that problem. The game is set to "Auto" find what ever controller you are using and sometimes it picks a steering wheel instead of the game pad.

You need to go to your Documents/codemasters/GRID/hardwaresettings and right click on the "hardware_settings_config.xml" and open it in note pad.

Look for a line around the bottom of that file that looks like this" <input device_type="auto" />" and change that "auto" to pad. Then save it and try your game again.

Not sure about the above. The sensitivity WAS changed, as stated in a post by a dev to counter complaints about it being twitchy!

Problem is, most people didn't mind or liked it better the old way. I certainly did, and after the patch I had to get used to the new less sensitive controls.

i didnt even noticed with my xbox 360 controller. still i tried to test the "wheel" settings and i rl loled, i mean are you serious playing this setting with a controller? its nearly impossible even if you change the whole ingame setup to "drive straight damnit". so all i can say the "new" sensibility settings are working very well for me.
