Thumbs down How could this be?

I paid big money for my PC system, I paid the full 60$ for this game, and after I installed it, I'm eager to play it.
But when I boot it, the race lags like hell, flashback lags, game crashes occasionally, I even got a Bleu Screen!
What are you doing? How could U release a game like this, that works like **** on a top-notch quality PC?

My specs:
Q6600
Nvidia GForce 8800GTS 512 MB
Vista 64x

I've tried several things to help it, tried alot of graphics combinations, tried Comptability, tried changing affinity, ...
Nothing helped.

You can't expect a PC game to be perfect on release, companys put consoles first (Even though GRID on console is still getting problems as well)

they have to optimize the game for all kinds of CPUs' - Graphics cards etc

unless you didn't want GRID to be released at the same time as consoles keep moaning and maybe it'll be like that with GRID2 or one of there new racing games.

then of course you'll moan again because Consoles got it first"....good god, theres no pleasing some people.

There working on a patch, Wait for it then moan if its still ****, till then shush!

It must be something wrong with your setup. I have the exact same spec, and it runs like a dream at the highest settings on mine

Latest drivers for graphics, audio, etc?

that graphics card isnt close to top-notch anymore sry to burst your bubble, it makes me mad too. stupid Geforce 9800's . my 8500gts would have ran around 5% of what 9800 can do. i had to upgrade to 8800, then they make something 10x more powerful how could they.

I agree, the GFX card isn't the best anymore, but still a very good card atm.
I'll check later if I have the latest drivers, I think so.

And now you are just not having the facts right. 8800 GTS (G92) is still a top-notch card. Only ones faster from the new cards are 9800GTX(
it is actually just 5-10% faster so not much.), GX2 and ATI's X2. I have same G92 GTS and I have 70fps with 16x10 reso, ultra settings, 4xAA.
