Hi guys,
I'm seeing that with my joypad the steering is not sensitive enough when seeing how the AI corners much easily. I don't know much about the steering settings in the advanced option. Thanks in advance

i dont know what kind of corners your talking about that your having trouble going around, the only on i dont like is the 45' one but i can easily take 90's just by letting off the gas 2-3 seconds before the turn and then flooring it, it kinda puts the car into a slide/drift thing. it might be hard to get used to but if you start multiplayer it helps... using brakes is bad cause people like to ram for some reason. but if u do come to a 45, what i normally do is i hit the normal breaks 3 seconds before, i angle the car a certain way and i nail the handbrake with the brakes. most of the time the car does 135' turn. my advanced driving setup, deadzone 0% saturation 100% linarity 0, and the rest of them are default. i dont know how powerful your computer is but another thing that takes affect is the fps.. i run the game on almost all minimal settings just so i can have 40 fps. i have the car and reflections maxed thats about it. if you have anything under 20 fps your ability to turn when you want will be out the window, you would probly lag half a second every time u try to turn..
when i first started i thought the steering wasnt sensetive enough but when i lowered the graphics the turns became really easy. i did a clean race no damage on my first try with the new lower graphics. hope i helped good luck =] |
