Default game wont run

http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=module&c=6000

Iv played the demo for a few days without problem, uninstalled the demo and installed the game. each time I try to run the game I get the above error.

"Please close all programs which are running in the background"

not very practical advice imo, im running fileplanets download manager atm ill install the 1.2 patch when its done but i have other stuff running in the sys tray like my razor mouse and my keyboard software.

Might try opening Task Manager and go to Processes tab and close some of the running programs that have your User name next to them. Close one program at a time, then start GRID and see if error message go away. It may be just one of these programs GRID don't like.

Leave explorer.exe and rundl32.exe running.

You do have plenty of ram\memory to run GRID, 2 GB of ram is best?

Damn I'm going have to Boycott buying DIRT 2 now until GFWL issue get resolve in a fair manner for players that bought DIRT 2.

Don't feel right buying DIRT 2 if others are getting screwed out of their hard earn dollars.
GFWL stole my game

Please Codemasters and Microsoft fix this injustice to online racing! Let the WHOLE world race online like we do with GRID and Flatout 2!! Will F1 use GFWL?
