Still crashing after new update

I really have alot of problems running this.

1. Ran smoothly, then game won´t start at Grid logo
2. Update 1.1 sound disappear at menu´s and ingame
3. Update 1.2 sound has come back, Microsoft SideWinder Gamepad works.
Im playing again, after first round, the game crashes and goes to desktop.

AMD Athlon X2 4200+
2GB RAM
2x250GB SATA RAID0
700W PSU - Chieftec
Sapphire X3870 512MB
G11+G7 keyboard and mouse
Onboard Azalia 1.92 driver or USB 770 Plantronics Surround Headset

Game is running 2XAA 1360x768 in 16:9

its a sound problem that is causing your crashing..........try this download the 191 driver, just install over the top as the installer will uninstall your old driver, sfter it uninstalls it will ask you to reboot,reboot the machine, you will now have no sound at all ,so go to the 191 driver and install it , reboot again,then click on that little brown speaker in system tray,and set it to stereo (two speakers).

it should all work ok,once it works without issues you can then mess with the sound options.

if you like you could just try setting the driver you have now to stereo, but i had to roll back to 191 before it worked.

Cheers i will definately try both things, ill say its pretty annoying that you can play a game your so egar to play.....cant be cod4 noobs all the time.

BTW here the best place, even for older drivers.
