porsche category??

hi, is there any way to drive the porsches in any category?
or make a porsche only category like the prestige or the dorans?

ok,. i just did it, i took out the doran je4, replaced with every 911*.* and modded the audio with the tapawan tutorial,
now im going for the tvr tuscan, so i can play in race day.
i send pictures later

You should write up a tutorial on how it is done.
People go on about swapping the cars around but stay quiet when it comes down to how it is done.

ok, with the tvr tuscan is a bit different since it's a right handed car, but the first part is the same:

1) backup the cars/tch folder
2- copy the files in the 911 folder to the tch and rename all the files inside each folder, livery_** they should be tch_tex_high_04.pssg
instead of 911_tex_high_04.pssg
and the root files of tch folder too, rename 911 with tch
3- copy the 911's interiors files to the tch files and rename de 911 with tch
4- change the audio file in the database.bin file like is mentioned the Sticky tutorial.
and you need to edit in a hex editor the line ITMGleft with a tch close to it and change it to ITMGright so the anim of the gear change is correct

then you can have a park like this in any event when choosing the TVR and you can race in the touge as well

Looks like a bit of effort but if your'e really wanting to have cars in a different event this is what you have to do at the moment.

I just hope this won't be the one and only way.

If you can hold on for a while, lollieman has got the Porsche car to run on a Derby Track by making a change in the Database file. With a bit more investigation, and making the necessary changes, it "may" be possible to have any car on any track mod. This means you won't have to do folder changing in the future.

I even played yesterday with a friend online in a private server with the porsches, replacing with the doran je4, it's much easier than the tvr tuscan and oyou can choose Global castrol prototye and play online!! it's amazing
