Default Chat = evil

The chat system in grid is really really evil... when I race, and somebody writes a message, the messagebox pops up so that it hides what's ahead of me--
My concentration goes down, I get dizzy even, and my perception goes down... Also when somebody join or leave the session (happens every 5-10 seconds) it pops up..

Why is there no option to disable the chat altogether?

Its especially annoying in the 24H race where you have to be really focused. (especially if you wanna get some decent mileage under your belt)

Chat = Crap imho. Especially in the lobby, having to press home to see if anyone has messaged is kinda naff, surely it should display on the main screen?
