Default How do I have a touring car race online?

How can I have a proper touring car race online on a track like Jarama, Donnington etc.?

I can't find any options for this in the browser. Why can I not choose any track for my race?

You can't do it I'm afraid mate. This is one of the most popular topics on the forum and is pretty much within every thread. We are all hoping codies are going to patch it up to enable any car any track, but it wont be for a while yet.

There is only one touring car option for online play, and thats under global and the Bridgestone Championship, and includes the tracks Milan, Nurburgring, Istanbul, Detroit, Washington and Okutuma.

Well thanks for confirming what I hoped was not the case. This makes me pretty angry. I bought the game based on the thrilling online touring car races in the demo and now I find that I cannot do what I bought the game for. The demo mislead me.

The tracks that you CAN race on in the game are a completely crazy choice as well. Why, when there are suitable and good tracks like Donnington and Jarama in the game, are we forced to race touring cars through city streets. It makes no sense and feels completely wrong.

Codemasters had better fix this and apologise to the on-line community or I will not be buying any more games from them.

The only positive is that you can race on Donington and Jarama in the Career mode with the Touring cars. I agree with you and thousands others that the online options (or lack of) ruins the game entirely, but fingers crossed, codies may listen. By the looks of the details for the first patch it looks promising.

Just a bump up so the message is clear... your customers are ****ed of, the demo was different to what we paid for... fix it, now.
