Hi All,

TeamRIP, a multi-gaming PC-Based clan, has some spots open for GRID players (must be 18 or older) who race in US timezones. We generally get together around 8pm eastern, Mon, Wed & Fri.

We use Ventrilo for voice communications, which helps situational awareness now that they've taken away our mirrors, The Arrow and glancing left/right.

There are also private racing seasons, with fixed schedules of tracks and our own points system, kind a of a mini-league, just for us. Occasionally there are team challenges against other racing clans, which are great fun.

btw - For those who like a bit of everything, the teamrip community includes active CoD4, BF2 & EQ2 teams too.

Wonder if we'll get more responses once the game is actually out here in the US. I was at gameStop yesterday, the supposed release day, and they told me June 3rd was the ship day and they won't have it until today at the earliest. Was a bit miffed but whatever I guess, I'll live a couple days more.

Just picked it up at GameStop, so it is out there to be had in the US, but most stores will be low on inventory by the sound of it.

The first store I went to only received 1 copy, it was sold already. So I went to a 2nd nearby store and they'd received 2 copies, I got lucky and was able to nab the 2nd one.

Lol, tried rephrasing it ... anyway, the point is, no kiddies, thx. We're mostly 30-somethings although some are in college and some are retired folks.
