when will Grid support PSN Trophies?
ok so 2.4 is out (for some) which is my case! when will you CM guys come out with a patch to support trophies? Will I need to play again??

A. Senna 3 world titles J. Clark 2 world titles 5 world titles. Schumacher won 7 but that makes him better than 2 Clarks together and 1 Senna? Beware of numbers!!! |

We're currently not planning to restrospectively support PSN trophies - it;s not a trivial thing to add to a game.

Anybody else starting to get the feeling that CodeMasters do not feel that us consoleplayers are essential to them? I mean we didnt get any additional championships or anything... online is still not up to par... no trophies, and i bet we wll not even get in-game music..

It's as if PS3 players expect all their games to get trophies added retroactively - and if that's the case you're going to be very disappointed. More and more developers are coming out and saying they have no plans to implement trophies into their past games. The latest include insomniac, infinity ward, and now CM. There was some early press from a Sony exec that made it sound like all games would get trophies - what he apparently meant was that almost all the NEW titles would have trophies. Big difference there - and even new titles aren't guaranteed to use the trophy system. Like everything else on the PS3 - it's up to the developer whether or not they want to implement it. Sorry for the rant - but this is ONE item that CM deserves absolutely ZERO grief over. |

Fair enough, but since CM retrofitted/implemented TIR for the PC players I was just hoping that the Console players would get something they wanted as well.....
