Is the Eurogamer review correct -- no replay saves?

It's all looking very positive and I personally don't give a fig about saving replays (although respect those that do).

I just hope this game proves to have a stable and lengthy online lifetime. A year would be nice!

Curiously, twice now it has been mentioned in reviews that the career Le Mans is 12 minutes long, whilst we were advised it was 24 minutes long. I wonder if we could have clarification of this as presumably the reviewers would have played the finished game.

The Le Mans event lasts 12 minutes in the career mode, with the ability to lengthen it in all other modes.

I work in the dev team if it helps solve your dilema.

EDIT: Here's an explanation I wrote earlier.

You're right in that it was originally set as 24 minutes for the career mode. However there are a couple of reasons as to why it has been brought down to 12 minutes.

First of all, lots of playtesting revealed that this was actually quite a lengthy amount of time to remain focused, especially for a race that is so intensive (seriously, you'll be relieved to see the sun coming up over them-thar hills)!

Secondly, the event comes around quite often during the time spent in career mode, and at 24 minutes long, it felt as though the game was encouraging us to play more Le Mans 24H than any other event in the game (which from a design perspective is unbalanced).

As previously mentioned, Race Day and Online modes still contain multiple time durations to choose from, so if you are ready for some heavy duty day-night action then the option's still there.
