Very little of it was actually new information- it's all been out there a while, scattered through lots of forum threads. but with the forum now so insanely busy, it needed to be brought together into one thread.

Thanks RFT - certainly much better having it all in a concise FAQ.

Last time I looked there wasn't a forum for GRID over at xbox.com. It may be worth nagging MS to open one up

This place is better but it will bring more attention to those who might otherwise not know much about the game's existence!
WHOOPS EDIT - I NOTE THERE IS NOW ONE ***slaps forehead***

2 things I didn't notice:

1. Will we be able to change the livery later on if we so choose?

2. When you say that we can't paint the LM cars, does that mean that we can't purchase our own Audi R10 and have our own livery on it? Isn't the DBR9 considered a Le Mans car, and in all of the marketing, it certainly seems like you can have your own livery on it...

Thanks much!

I'll try and get nailed down a full list of the cars that can't be painted.

You can change your livery after creating it, yes.

er... I've got an update from the designers and you can paint all the cars with one exception.

The, er, Porsche.

Sorry, banksrob's dad.

RFT, thanks on that. I noticed for example, that in the Car Focus feature, it shows a "primer" Audi R10. One of the downsides of the Forza painting system was the inability to paint any of the R-Class cars (in their defense, I'm sure it was also a lisencing issue) with the exception of the 908, which they had special permission to do.

lol, just saw the reply. Thanks RFT. That sucks, BANKSROB! Although without the Ferrari now, I'll be using the Spyker for my GT2 assault on LM. I've got close ties with them and it's time they saw some better luck at the 24!!!
