I don't think you can base it on the online Nurburgring leaderboard. Its the top 5 fastest of the people who sign up... so I think in order to ensure that Codemasters gets the correct times, they should set up a room with a CM rep "spectating" the qualifying run. (Not that they have to race you, but just be in the same room to record the fastest lap. Like, at the beginning of the race, they can head for the grass or something, staying out of the competitor's way. If they get totaled or retire, the race will end when the leader crosses the finish line after the 1st lap, so we wouldn't want that...) Then record the fastest lap time after each competitor finishes.

By the way, how many qualifying laps will there be? I'd suggest 3 max, but at least 2.

I'm also hoping that this tournament goes well because I'd like to see a GT1 tournament as well in the future.

Right....something like 10 players and 2 judges, I think they'll do just fine

I certainly hope so... Prototypes are ok, but GT1 rules... in my opinion, at least.

Anyone know how many laps the qualifying race will be yet? Just curious... gotta get in some practice.

Thumbs down What about us poor Africans Huh.

I am amazed at how often the world seems to be just Europe and America.

We do have electricity in Africa and telephones even cell phones (wow),computers even game consoles who would have thought???

Yes I am being sarcastic I get ****ed off when South Africa and Africa in general just gets forgotten about EA does it with their "community" race days, know what? I don't play their games anymore and will not buy the next release because of that, looks like Codies will go in the bin too.
