New Citroen Rally car for 2005

Citroen have recently decided on their chosen car to be used in WRC 2005-the forthcoming C4 that will replace the championship winning Xsara-dont worry Xsara lovers, the Xsara will be partaking in WRC 2004.

fine, if my word doesn't give you enogh proof, here's Citroen's word:

"Citroen settles on Xsara replacement
December 4, 2003
Citroen has confirmed that it intends to replace the World Rally Championship-winning Xsara with the forthcoming C4, clearly indicating that its involvement in the sport will be long term.

“The Xsara will be competing in 2004 and probably in 2005. When a new car is going into production, you can’t just develop a new rally car in a couple of months. The new car will probably be used in 2005,” Citroen Sport Director Guy Frequelin said.

Frequelin also reiterated his belief that the World Championship will cost less in 2004 thanks to the reduction from three cars per rally to two, but expressed concern that changes to the calendar, notably to the date of the Rally of Argentina, might inflate costs."

How about that then????????
