Angry Bad Crash

I installed fuel on my ps3
and race 1 race in career
then when i was 1 minute racing the 2th race
my ps3 crashed and rebooted but was unable to restart
i unpluged the power and it stared again
i loaded fuel and as soon i started in career mode it crashed the same way
i uninstalled the game and my save game and reinstalled all

same problem occured even before i pressed career

so it could be that my hd is fkt up or the disc is hanging inside
(cant get it out no more)

p.s. the graphics look REALY 1986

wow thats serious!!....very rare if ur HD is shot...but check if any of ur other games do it or just unistall the hole data file of (fuel) ofcourse from ur ps3 try it again...mighta been a glitch or bug got to it! if not try to get another hardrive as test and install the PS3 operating system and just install fuel...see if it works, if it still crashes...well call Sony they are very helpfull...but i really Doubt is the game cus ur not the only one that has the same copy/software!

Angry

replaced a new hd but no effect
tryed resetting the system by holding the power button
but also no effect
i opened up my ps3 some more and also opened my blue ray drive to get my brand new disc of fuel out of it

then i found out that the disc of fuel is bigger than the other disc i got
(almost 1.5 grams more weight)
it blocked my drive and burned the little engine inside the blueray drive
that caused this

for that i wanna tnx codemasters a lot
for destroying my 13 months old ps3

im gonna get me a chiped xbox 360 and STOP buying orrigional software
(untill mafia2 is released)

I hope you mean 0,01%
1% would be very much.

BTT
That sounds very serious but I can't believe that the disc was too big for your blueray-player. Was it really the original FUEL disc?

Unhappy

i dunno if the thickness of the disc caused it
becouse it DIDN'T make weird or scrachy sounds
and it installed 2x 100%

but all i know is that the disc is bigger than motorstorm or one of my other games
and my blueray was not working anymore after 2th install

i would say , wait for the (reloaded) pc version
ps3=720P vs pc=1080x1920

ill call sony tommorow and see what they say

if you already bought it for ps3
i would weight your disc before inserting it
normal disc weight 15,7 to 16 grams
fuel weight 16,9 grams here

p.s.

i'm a little concerned about what you said : "replaced a new hd but no effect"

i upgraded my hd last fall and it took hours to backup and format and restore data. it's not something you just do as a test. how many hard drives have you replaced in your PS3? how often do you open the thing up? i think you broke your PS3 and are trying to blame it on the game to get it fixed for free.
