Is there tuning and customization?

Does anyone know if you can tune your vehicles and customize them?

Body kit and decals i think... yes.
But tuning... NO.

The game has 70 vehicles. With races that give you the option to choose what type of terrain you'll go through (with the open world boundries). It's part of the game to choose which vehicle will suit you best to get to the finish line through the terrain you've chosen. Hence, you don't tune your vehicle nicely, you choose your vehicle wisely...

Ok cool. But is there vehicle customization like decals, paint, and spoilers?

Paint - definitely (I seen it). Decals, likely. Spoilers, maybe. For example, I read that you can change your rider's gear:

"...emphasised by everything from the places you encounter, like a drowned city or a wrecked tanker, to the clothes you can win which have a very unorthodox feel to them compared to a licensed racing game - NFL helmets instead of straight racing gear being one." It's just that they haven't marketed the ability to customize, so I think it might be really limited or quirky ("NFL Helmet")... To sell a game you talk about all the cool things - right ?? They haven't said much AT ALL about customization - I only know about paint because I seen a car with different paint jobs in an Gamestop preview.

For vehicles you'll be able to select your paintjob, livery etc. But there won't be any tuning I'm afraid.

Rider customisation will allow you to select various items of clothing, body types, skin colour etc. I "think" you'll also be able to select from various tattoo's.
