Waiting for the release of f1 2010, i want to remember all the games and simulations in all the plantforms (ps1 , pc , xbox , ps2 , ps3 eccc) that have been successful in the past and in many cases still continue to move entire communities and to offer work to many modders!



F1 MANEGEMENT GAMES




-Grand prix Manager 2 (Pc , 1996)

Grand Prix Manager 2 simulates the work of the people employed by teams such as Williams, Benetton, McLaren and Ferrari. Your job as manger is to get your F1 cars to the world's circuits in top condition with the best drivers, backed by the richest sponsors and most efficient crew. To succeed, you'll need a cool head under pressure combined with technical, negotiating and management skills. But, you'll also need to manage money; a top team can spend $1 million a week and you'll be held responsible for every cent.

- Grand Prix world (pc , 2000)

Grand Prix World is a detailed management game of running a F1 Racing Team during the 1998 season. The game seeks to capture the excitement and colour of the TV coverage of F1, focusing on areas that the public are familiar with; squabbling drivers and teams, politics, tyre wars, big money deals, sponsors, pit stops and race tactics.

-CHEQUERED FLAG
the first complete race car simulator on zx spectrum.
Chequered Flag allows a player to select a racing track and one of three cars; two with manual gears and one automatic.




-GRAND PRIX (1992 , pc)
The first glorious game of the famous grand prix series by geoff crammond.
This can't be missed in a real f1 fan games collection!




- GRAND PRIX 2 (1995 , PC)
Formula One Simulation, race all the tracks from the 1994 season in this top rated F1 game. Sequel to the classic F1 Grand Prix 1/World Circuit Racing game. The game is more of a simulation than an arcade game but still manages to capture all the excitement of formula one with lots of overtaking and crashes.

The last and great geoff crammond's work on f1 games.
A must have , thanks to the modder community , an actual game.





- F1 challenge 99-02 (may 2003 , pc)
maybe the best f1 simulation of those times.
That's 14 teams, 44 different vehicles, 34 drivers and 17 of the worlds most famous racing circuits configured as they were for each FORMULA ONE season from 1999-2002.




-Formula One 2004 - Formula one 2005 (2004 , 2005 ps2)

Formula One 2004 is an offical product of the 2004 FIA Formula One World Championship and features all of the 17 Grand Prix circuits and all the teams and drivers of the 2004 season.

Yes the Grand Prix 4 community is still very active and produces many
tracks and cars. Its so nice. Rfactor too is so active.
Of both games i like more Grand Prix 4 because of the AI and the physics
especially with a mod.

I tried Grand Prix 3 and 2, they were awesome for the time when released.

GP2 had a really impressive damage model for its time (and even now it's still pretty good).

F1 racing championship was a fantastic game, is the first game who i remember where shows the podium at the end of the race. If i remember well in this game you have only two car, if you destroy all the two cars you can't run the next session.

Thats Grand Prix 2 image. Im very certain of that. Just look at the benetton
of the 1994 season from that image.

Also something important when you mention about Grand Prix 3.
Their was the original release of that game, then some time later
their was a separate release charging you for the updates for the year 2000.
Original Grand Prix 3 was season 1998.
