Default Canadian GP dropped from calender

http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/news/2008/...s-f1-calendar/

The Turkish GP has been moved too.

I'm really sad that the Canadian GP is no longer in the calender, it's my fave track of all of those in the calender.

Yeah it's sad that there is now no F1 in Canada or USA at all. You would think that it would be a major market. Maybe it's not making Bernie Ecclestone enough money! However, the Canadian GP organisers didn't help themselves when the track kept falling apart at crucial areas. I think they've had problem with the track the last couple of years.

Shame it's going, and although not my favourite track, it always provided a fun race for me [on the games].

Well we saw this one coming. Remember that the race track had to be fixed after qualifying due to it breaking apart ...

Abu Dhabi looks like a good track though

I can't help but think F1 is in trouble. Seems to me that the market from the tracks they add to the calendar is smaller than the ones they are loosing and we even had an entire team retire from F1 earlier in the season

Its not only F1 in trouble, the Whole financial world is in trouble. Cost cutting is a must and part of the decision is going over to the US for only one race.
