if it's like Club Footie then you will only be able to play as England in the main modes but any team in custom modes.

Yes you do - you got it right there!

Yes, Grizfoot - it's an England version of Club Football with tweaked gameplay, updated squads, international teams and all of the above. And it plays really well.
