Default Dave Arneson Dies aged 61

Wasn't sure where to post this will post it here and somewhere else more mainstream.

from http://dnd4.com/dave-arneson

Dave Arneson, the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons, has passed away due to cancer. Dave created the first campaign called Blackmoor and later worked with Gygax to create the original Dungeons and Dragons. His family has requested that you not send or contact them in any way. They would like some private time to be left alone.

Our thoughts are with you Dave, thanks for helping create a wonderful game.

For more information on Dave Arneson please visit his Wikipedia

Condolences to his daughter and two grandchildren. His and Gary's game will live on in his memory.
I think Gary's shrine needs a twin shrine next to it :'(

Default :(

They live on with us old PnP players.

Their families only need look at the influence they have had on people like me to feel proud and remember them well.

Makes the bickering on some of these forums look a bit silly with news like this.

Thanks to guy who posted this - I had no idea.
