Hi folks - see a lot of posts about what MMO's peeps play etc... etc... etc...

Since I started back in the day with meridian59 and it's amazing and compulsively addictive content.

Wondered who else might have played, especially on the same server - if I remember correctly my server was no. 105.

In fact, I wonder more i there are any left out there who used to play this - tired of WoW youngens thinking they invented the genre :P

So, anyone else play this grand daddy of graphical MMOs? and if so, what server :P

Just in case - I don't want to start up a fan club, or invite everyone from m59 down to the pub for some chats - or track you down and ask if your my friend - just interested how many might still be in the loop :P :P

My first experiance with MMo's was UO... I did try Meridian ½ a year ago, after my break with WOW, yeah I played it and well I got tired of it....

btw just want to see my brand new signature

rofl - just as I type a disclaimer cos no one wanted to reply, I get two replies.

And as for that mystic sword - aiii it was certain death, but you could always just go grab another one from that ghostie :P

Now, Lupoggs - that certainly was death :P

i played meridian on a german server, but i can't remember server name or which class i played

I played the original version of this back in the day. Can't remeber the server i was on, but i was in a guild called "the rings".

this was when you had to pay call charges by the minute for been online.

christ that brings back the memory of some HUGE phone bills - I strted off paying £1.50 per hour to compuserve + the BT call charges

Can easily wastes £3-400 a month like that :P
