She turned and swayed away slowly toward the street, a curled smile on her face as she felt the weight of his gaze on her back.

Some small flicker of unhappiness flared in her chest before she firmly pushed it farther down, deep inside.
The hour was nearing it's end as those prepared for, battle gathered in the blckened and smoking wreck of a room, hard worked upon by Thrick and his fellows.

Reluctance knawed at the dark skinned priestess as she carefully navigated the stairs, still smoldering, to the small room not hours before that she'd secured for the night as her own. Opening the soot covered chest that housed what belongings she'd brought with her to town, eyes stared into the pile of garments and leathers, the gleam of a smooth headed mace at the bottom.

Mother Night, guide us. A terrible wrong has been done, not to these people I find myself with, but to those around them. Innocent lives are now changed as a result of choices not thiers. Balance must be maintained...

The smokey midnight robes were changed in favor of leather, black dyed and double stitched, a very fine mail shirt and over it a tabard that bore the mark of the goddess she chose to follow. The mace was lifted into it's place on the belt at her side and the mess of silver white hair was carefully combed and then tied back into a thick, long braid. A last sigh of prayer before she closed the trunk and locked it, and then descended the stairs to join the ranger.

The ranger. Her thoughts moved from the coming battle for a brief moment as she remembered something that had been bothering her since she'd met him. The images that had played about him, images none else could normally see. A flock of crows meant many things, amoung them death or forebodance. It would prove a true interpretation this night. And really, when she thought about it, it wasnt the images that had stirred her at all, but the eyes. Those gold rimmed greens that seemed to see into the deepest parts of her. It was the way he looked at her -the feral passion that lay hidden just under the surface of that calm demeanor. And the sadness. Those things called to her but she stifled the feeling as the talk around her brought her back to the present moment and the things to come.

Sat deeply enshrouded in the shadow of the tall backed chair the Elf moved his right hand to his lips in a subconscious attempt to sensualise the irrational. The dark furred lynx sat before him on a smoke blackened stool placed such to imply the thought that it was alway's meant for the cat's use.

Blue ice eyes-black slit hung, peered from the beast across the inches of ionised air, empty gold spheres peered back. Somewhere deep in the Elf's mind the knowing of place, time and the gathering of others filtered through the untold images of another life.

Somewhere deep in the Elf's mind the knowing of death, efficient, peerless, absolution of conclusion unquestionable wrythed in growing excitement as the pull of the weave ached fingertips heavy with sensation.

Ghenna was to be challenge to say the least and doubly so as the Priestess....

Estllan's eye's flared light.

"Don't you like her?"

The cat looked away in almost a sneer of indignance.

"She is my ward tonight, what befalls her befalls me, so your attention will be needed."

Yellow eye's clung back to gold as the room's presence spread to the visceral. The Guild's murmur and bustle crashed overawing the Elf momentarily as his concentration ended.

"We move in five minutes!"

The way she invited him for a confrontation, hit him like a kick in the groin, though he did not seem to flinch the least, she could might aswell have had put a knife in his thigh. The hot breath of her spoken words inches from his face hazed his mind like fog over a morning bank. His vision was a blurr, as he watches her wack away *very well, if that is the way it must be for now* he thought to himself, though his heart longed to reach out, he did not know how.

"We move in five minutes" The Rangers word flowed like velvet and snapped Anogar to imidiate attention, that would mean that either they would leave without him, or he would have to leave their captive behind.

"Sir if you will tell me where to meet up with you then, as I am quite serious about bringing this man to justice" The words came with an easy smile, and no judgement. As he took the assassin by the collar and pushed him towards the door hsi head turned slightly to catch what information he awaited

She paced up and down, almost ferociously, on the road out front of the tavern. Horses tied up nearby shied nervously, her barely controlled and tangible frustration a scent on the air. She needed to....hurt someone, she thought with finality.

Her chest heaving, eyes darting, she drew her dirk and stood looking around the dark street. Two men passing opposite quickened their pace considerably as they caught sight of the half-elf's wild expression.

No, no... She blinked slowly. Have to keep it under control, Rae...

She whirled and then forced panic down as she heard his voice echoing in her head. Ranaewen stood silent, trembling violently with the effort of containing her thoughts.

The priestess, ready to march with this Fellowship, finished her descent of the stairs and walked silently to where Shaddow and the others were gathering to wait for the inevitable departure and battle.

Looking to the door the Elf caught Witchfinder's steely gaze, with a nod the mage turned and opened the newly hung piece of oak and marched out into the night, the grim followers moving in his wake.

Shaddowweaver watched in silence as the first group moved out and down the street towards the market-place; with a wink and a smile Nefarious turned to be hidden by the massive form of Grung. The second section of the guild moved out.

A brooding silence filled the tavern briefly as the sound of footsteps died away into the night-sounds. Looking about him at those gathered the Elf smiled and stepped into the soft breeze of the crips night air. With a glance towards Elisan the Elf made a casual walk up the slight incline towrds the looming shadows of the city wall and it's gate. A line of guards looked down on the group and raised hands in silent salute. As the head of Shaddowweaver turned to the stout captain, brimming with empathy the gate cranked it's dark cullis up into the housing and the broad beams of stoic wood eased their opening.

"Good hunting!"

The broad expanse of hedgeless fields opened to the left and the right with the subtle richness if woods teasing ahead, along the path of moonlight at their feet.

"Ready yourselves for battle."

Axe filed in behind them as they began to exit. He had no interest in the affairs of the flesh walkers in general, save for those of his charge, the Priestess Elison. He could not help but become dissapointed when she fell into this lot. He was perfectly comfortable with her remaining at the temple. The two years he was to serve as her personal bodyguard would of been simple and uneventful if she would of decided to stay there. However, Axe had surmised that if she had intended to remain in the first place, she would not of taken Jeron up on his offer so easily.

Nonetheless, here they all were, grim faced as they exited the building. He did not wonder who would live and who would die, he only knew that he would honor his contract and perform the service in which he was bound. Silently, he hoped that the Priestess would not call upon him to defend the others if the need arose. Though he had not been activated long, he knew that the flesh walkers held unusual affinity for the preservation of their companions. The very thought brought a grim visage to his own features.

In the past when Axe was forced into violent action to facilitate her protection, the Priestess remarked of her own guilt and sadness of the matter. Death and violence was caused by her presence. Eventually however, she learned that sometimes violence was a means to an end. That there were forces upon the world that would seek out her life and she would have no choice but to defend herself is she were to remain alive to do her work.

The air carried a chill upon it though Axe did not really know what being cold ment. He only knew that the Priestess did not much care for it. In her own thoughts, she did not wonder where Axe was, she knew he would be very near her where ever she happened to be. This time however, he noticed something different about her. She seemed to show a certain concern for one of the other flesh walkers. Perhaps he thought, even affection. A scenario that forced from him a barely audible "groan".

He was confused, they had asked him to interogate the prisoner with politeness, he had done so and they had acted brutely and yes admitedly he had been lying, and a show of force had been neccesary, though he had been shocked by the incident. And now he had declared many times his intentions to bring this villain to justice and all he had received had been reluctance or direct opponentization.

He pondered this as he almost without notice followed the beconing aura that was Shadowweaver, half draging the prisoner with him. Well he thought "I am new to this guild and should accept that I'm of low rank, and maybe therefor I should not ask to be respected as anything other, I know they respect me as an individual but my voice carry not the weight of the seasoned officers"

He exited the Charred doorway of the Trolls Inn, and saw the saluting city guards, his heart raced as he saw they we're saluting him and his comrades. He took fast paces to the guard "This is one of the would be assassins, I trust him to you now, bring him to due justice for his crimes" He made an akward attempt at a returned salute and the jogged back in line with the others, gald not to have turned down on his word despised the situation.

His eyes caught the pasing, prowling form of Ranaewen. He watched how she reveled in her rage, venting it. Something in him awed at that, a feeling he had never felt in his life, and there had been times where he had wondered why he had not.

As he walked he came up halfway behind her "I am sure you will have use of that dirk soon enough Miss Ranaewen" He coughed "I'm abit akward calling you miss to be honest mind if I call you rae?" His words was warm, filled with friendliness *The fierceness of her demeanor overwhelmed him, almost filling him with it, though his heart beat slowly, calmly and he found solace i knowing reconing was at hand*
