Impossible laptimes? DTM

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how some players can get these latimes.
for example DTM hockenheim, when you check the laprecords online you'll see that the record is put on 59 secs.!!!!?

I just don't get it, I think the best time has to be around the 1.15
Is there a bug in the game or is he really that fast?

My best is 1.18.63 , whats yours?

But if you use car setup you can easily drive a lot faster with extra downforce, lowering of teh car etc.
Perhaps the lap record is done by driving another car, since you can crack the DTM playlist thus also other playlists.

Everywhere who take a cheat or crack to be a the best in the "hall of fame" is a looser and is unfair.
That is the same as doping.

yo tony, stig here... i have the answer to your question..

hotlaps can been done in offlinemode (timetrial), there the cheats provided by codemasters work (not online thank god) with a turbo on you are in topspeed just in a few seconds... then you can do such ridiculous times i guess...

It's the PC hackers that get that time. I can do 1:12.xx online, not sure about time trial.

LOL, then i wanna see you do a 1.12 on hockenheim without making nasty cuts...looks impossible to me dude... are you mistaken with toca 3 maybe??

Nope, it is possible even without cuts. I know a few people who ran 1:11.xx. It was a one-off time, but it still counts.

I was asking myself the same question (Hockenheim in 1.01.59 ???) So I was working in the time-trial-mode for one hour and managed to go from 1.16 to 1.13.36 ... then I calculated an improve of 0.25 in every curve, thats 12 x 0,25 = 3 more seconds ... so I think 1.10 IS POSSIBLE ...

Thats all without cheats! (but with maybe 7 Years of experience!) But i use tuning of course, especially downforce and big changes in the gear-relations! and softest tires ... and a lot of ambition ... I learned a lot about myself, with this game! So I wanna get better and better in driving, tuning, understanding, physics, the car and the track ... not in cheating ...

(:-) i think the cheaters should appear in an extra list ...you also need brains for cheating ... BUT: i could pay those guys more respect, if they would be honest enough to do their extra contest ... (:-) ... one day I found a 00:00:00 .. i think in Colin McRay ... well, this guy seems to have hacked the code ... so he was a "codemaster", but not a good driver (:-))

Yes, you right. My fastest time in DTM - Hockenheim is 1:10.60. I playing on PS2. If you want to get that time you must have a great setup and maybe wheel also. I don't know If I did that time on controller.


what's your top DTM lap at Hock?

SRL_RB said that he did 1:10.50 so he is real #1. However his best time in HoF is: 1:10.24. Crazy fast.
