The weekly pole at the Blackhole Motorsports site ( http://www.bhmotorsports.com/ ) asks you to rate the Race Driver 2 demo.

Current votes indicate the following:

Awesome [17%]
Good [23%]
Ok [23%]
Not Bad [10%]
Crap [27%]

I strongly disagree that the demo is "Crap" -- Codies has REALLY redeemed themselves for RD1 here, and I think that from a realism standpoint, RD2 is right up there with sim classics such as NASCAR Heat, Sports Car GT, and Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed. If you're enjoying the PC demo, get out there and vote -- don't let those "hardcore" elitists dis RD2 just because it's from Codemasters!

Thx for the link, I voted "crap". Saying, this game goes in one line with Nascar, really made my day. You made a nice joke out of yourself... (I just say: 2d-wheels, crappy graphics, no cockpit, no mirrors, bad physics, bad FF....).

Ok, lets get one thing clear, it is not a sim it's an arcade game.
And as an arcade game it's pretty good! Looks cool, easy control, lotsa championships and cars etc. anybody can play it

If it was like a sim then you probably wouldn't like it because only "hardcore elitists" would be able to drive (fast)

RD2 crap?? no way! It can allways be better but it's nice to play.
Pushing the car to the limit is no problem.
Maybe for some guys to easy but I enjoy the way it is.
If you want the real thing?? Get your racing license

The progress they made with rd2 is far better than CMR04.
