Left and Right Views while racing

Please oh PLEASE, someone give me official word saying that while I'm racing in first person view or cockpit view, I'll be able to glance with a flick of the right joystick, to my left and right the way I can do in Project Gotham Racing 2.

This feature is one of the BEST features introduced in console racing and I would prefer to not have to do without it. I am greatly looking forward to Race Driver 2, but if this feature is included, I wouldn't be able to be any happier.

...well that, and if the wierd tire steering animation during the replays that I've seen. Hopefully that can be smoothed out too.

I dunno if it will be in the game.
I don't really care if it is or isn't, I didn't use it too much in RD1, only if I got damaga and that doesnt happen very often.

my opinion: for fair racing this feature is a must! so include it afap.

agreed, we need this especailly for on line play to see if someone is next to us.

I agree with needing the side to side view, But I got TOCA race driver 2 and Negative it isn't a feature which really sucks while in tight corners, you have to change views to behind to see anything next to you, then go back to cockpit view

Maybe they'll include it in some patch, but that's a big change to be included in a patch....

Other then that, It's a great game, w/ alot of features and great gameplat, the AI is incredible, can;t tell if your playing another human...We'll worth the $29.99

I agree, I'm loving the game too. I'm about 50% through it presently, but as far as the left/right thing - *sigh* - maybe next time!

I've changed my mind. I would like this feature to be in, becsause, in the demo I have noticed that it isn't hard to get off the track so I would like to see if there are cars coming when I get back on.

Not in the incar view. You than just look back, not at your sides...
