Hello Everyone,
First of all despite this issue I have experienced I would like to say that it looks very promising the new Dirt game. I will be ordering it straight after this post. Basically on any track with any car within the Demo. When I am driving around the sky will change colour. It will either be a very dull green, turn into black squares or appear blue with clouds. Has anyone else experienced this? I am aware when I tried the Toca Race Driver 3 demo there was an issue with the sky. I'm pleased to say this then worked perfectly in the full version - no issues at all. I just wanted to bring it to the Admins/Developers attention for it to be looked into. Also would be interesting if I'm not the only person to experienced it and the reasons why. Despite this issue everything else has been working fine. It's just very off putting with the sky constantly changing so it really needs to be addressed. Thank you for reading this thread and any comments are much appreciated. ![]() As for my specs: - Mac Book Pro (2.33ghz Intel Core Duo 2) ATI X1600 Mobility 2GB Ram Windows XP (latest drivers and bootcamp) I understand that this could be a Mac Book Pro only issue. However the issue I experienced with the Sky's in TRD3 also appeared on my Desktop.

Hey,
I've also had this problem on my laptop, exactly the same pretty much. Mine has the X1300 mobility, so perhaps it's a mobility issue. However, it works fine on my main pc ![]() What I would suggest is to disable HDR, I did it on my main computer because I didnt really like the blur and found that it also really altered how the sky looked. Not only being less demanding, perhaps this would take out the effects that are causing the bugs with the sky. Anyways, hope I could help, let me know what you find out. -Jeffy p.s. there is a thread in the 'game' forums with a rar that has the needed files to remove the hdr effects. |

Turn down your settings. My PC struggles with the graphics turned up, and laptops are gonna REALLY struggle on more than medium settings.
