Interesting first look, looks like fun, but needs moooore damage in my opinion.
Haven't seen a tire coming of yet nor a totally wrecked car.
I also want to see more fire and smoke

Solid graphics and audio but 0% of rally so im definately NOT buying this. I bought Dirt3 mainly because of split screen and skipped all ghaykana stuff.

Everyone knew that it wasn't going to be a Rally game.

It looks exactly like I expected. Reminds me of Flatout 1. Looks like good fun. I'm looking forward to this mostly because it will lead us to a more pure rally game again. Also reading this article now.

"DiRT Showdown is not a direct sequel to DiRT 3. In fact, as the Codemasters guys were quick to tell me, after getting feedback from their fans on how jarring the differences between the Gymkhana events and the regular rally events in DiRT 3 were, the team decided on offering players two entirely separate games that focused on these different aspects. The next true iteration of DiRT will be focused on the deep rally racing experience while DiRT Showdown should appease the demolition and stunt junkies who appreciated where Gymkhana took the series."

I hope the destruction is improved. Wheels need to bend and wobble, tires come off, flats, and cars that are destroyed should stay on track. I hope this changes by release.

^ Reminiscent of Flatout 1 (Which is the only Flatout I have played). That's not a bad thing though, the game was great. This looks even better.
