Default Setting up the Momo wheel....

I just bought a Vista machine and found that my CR5 appears not to be compatible, so I bought Dirt and the program setup was fairly intuitive. But the problem is adapting my Momo wheel to the game. It's the basic $100 version Logitech Momo. I dumbed-down the program's graphics, wheel feedback and sounds since my Gateway GM5478 only has two gig (for now). But the wheel poses two problems; 1) slow response, in that when I steer left, it slowly reacts so that correcting back to the right gets you even deeper in trouble. Why? Corrections suggestion? and 2) there is no "back pressure" to the wheel - it just feels like there is no connection to the road. Using it in other games (on XP) it worked fine; especially in CR5 and GTR2. What gives? I updated the Logitech software today and would love to in deep in to some 'dirt.'

I have momo as well and had the same problems in the beginning.

1) make sure that you have the most up to date profiler and have the logitech profiler open (or in the quick launch bar at the bottom right corner)
2) make sure that the frame rates in the game aren't below 30 fps(use fraps)
3) try playing with the wheel settings, in game, and in the profiler
Do you have force feedback off or really low? Because having it on really helps with a really twitchy wheel.

I'm working on it now and will let you know what I come up with. Also, I tried loading CR5 on my Vista machine to no avail. Any info around on how to make it work on Vista? I tried choosing to run it in XP mode, but it still just brings up an error box when I try launching it.

Long time, long testing..
Vista 32 bit.
MOMO

I am driving as a FINN, because I am a FINN.
I have finally found out, some of the settings that are necessary.
With Mitsubishi on tarmac:
Saturation 80%
Steering linearity -10
And then, sigh, set up Mitsubishi.
We have been discussing of RBR, and yes, it is still my favorite, as a simulator, but I am getting closer and closer with DIRT, it can be a one too.
Very, very hard to set up, much harder as RBR.
A notch of change do change.

Kind of my former math-teacher, "You need one bracket more, my friend!" I could have killed the lady...

Drivers as Mr. S.Loeb, miight need, a bit different, set up.
And there is the fun? It is?
