Default The annoying whiteout!

I have just rented this game as my friends said it was good and the demo was great! This is deffinetly an awesome racing game. The crash physics are amazing as well, HOWEVER, being the crashing lover I am, I have one slight problem. After going off-course just a little bit or flying off the mountain, it whites out and I am not alowed to see the amazing crash that should happen. WHAT?!? Please someone tell me there is a way to turn it off. I just cant beleive a game like this would not allow you to watch a horrific crash off the mountain. If there isnt a way to turn it off that doesnt mean i wont stop playing, but I just hope I can turn that off.
Thank you.

its a way to curb cheaters that would simply drive off track to get shorter times. it is resetting your vehicle...no way around it. there are ways to get spectacular crashes that are reviewable...you just have to have them occur "in bounds".

OHHH, what a great answer Braincake. My guess was no place close to being right.

I got the whiteout in Japan while crashing in 6th gear on the next to last stage of a rally I was winning.
I was irked I didnt get the outrageous crash but was so happy I was able to continue to win a rally I should not have been able to.

I understand that it would keep cheaters in bounds of the track, but i'm seeing a few "patch" threads here. Are they releasing one? Maybe there could be an option to disable auto reset in Rally World or the free racing games....could that ever happen?

that would definately be a cool thing to add. The ability to turn off the reset but when doing so your times arent recorded. Just like they did in the ToCA series when you turned damage off. I would think making an invisible wall (dont know how much work that would be) or maby just having the reset line much much much further out. I would think the 2nd option is a lot easier.
