In Testing: Upcoming Combat Changes: Melee Combat
One of the most exciting components of Module 3 is the changes that are being made to combat - both ranged and melee. Following on from our article earlier this week that looked at ranged combat, today's article takes an in-depth look at the changes we are making to melee combat.

Where is the article? I can only find one about ranged - the one you linked in
your post.

above. So no info about melee there ... Aaaah thanks, Ravaella I rarely check the US board and when I saw this postI expected an article like the one we have for ranged now. I skipped over the article and it generally sounds good. No more "oh bloody hell he got my kill while my attack cycle was over and I was on pause before the next one" With yesterday's release I already noticed we can now virtually trip everything. Together with this improvement it will IMO become a lot better. Just think of VoN4, those mobs standing at the top of the stairs. How often have you cursed for not getting them immediately - or hitting a barrel for that matter? ![]() Looking forward to trip Velah

Hmm...the implementation of "delay" sounds suspicious....what will be considered combat and what non-combat? Paladins LOH in the heat of battle is crucial because its instant, and not interrupt-able... Also paladin spells like heal, div favor etc will create problems if they give a time penalty....And of course the ability to instantly switching weapons was always very usefull....Anyway, jusy wanted to comment on them, not to create a new "hate/love devs" thread
