Default Custom Track Tips

Hi,
I thought it would be good to have a thread where folks can share their tips for making great custom tracks.

Personally, the most important thing is that a track needs flow and rhythm, and mixing up the corner types- using the pencil tool is gret for starting, but once you've got that outline done, then try dropping in the other pieces to give a bit more variety- also, remeber scenery, not just the off-track stuff, but the various straights with trackside scenery too.

I think you need a good blend of corners and straights, not too over the top. And every track needs some sort of tight bend.

Most of the custom tracks I have raced on have been too square and over-done.

Simplicity is the key. You need to be able to learn the track in one, maybe two runs.

I try not to make mine to tough or long. But rest assured there are at least 2 turns on my tracks you gotta break for.

Is it possible too create a banked track with the track editor feature? Or also, create just a banked turn in a track, say like the Karussell turn at Nordschleife? Thanks.

There are banked turns availble once you have enough points to buy them.
