do minor gaurd , gaurd, greater gaurd damages stack?

do minor gaurd, gaurd, and greater gaurd, ( eg: acid) stack on their damages, or do u only get the highest version working ?

I would imagine that GUARD items with different names would stack - I have no idea what a gaurd item does - care to expand Eme?

A guildie has a monk that wears 4 guard items at L4 (on a AC monk build - attack of the noob!) and he kills most things by just standing and letting them hit him - no idea though what types of guard they are I would have to ask.

the gaurd is generally some form of elemental damage that gets applied to enemy that hit you, ( although can be good or evil as well).. And there are different levels of it for higher states of damage, eg 1d6, 1d8, and not sure what the highest version deals damage wise.
Similar to, for example, greater fire resistance items that protect you against 30 fire damage, instead they dish out the damage to your attacker, so kind of like a reverse effect.
Think of the fire gnolls when you hit them and you take damage from them.

I am 99% sure that they all stack Eme. I think they even stack with the lesser guard found on armours/robes. It's quite good extra DPS for classes like barbarians, who will get hit a lot, but don't really care, and want some extra DPS.

OT: i'm in the same situation as Eme, and tx all the confirmation and partial infos! Already prepared the 3 merged thing, but i see i need to change the composition with 1 swapping, then wont lose too much on tier 2 (ingredients).
I will see tomorrow they stack or not.
Raid timers are pain, grrrrrr.
