Post OK i'm rubbish at this...

I can only win about 4 rallys out of the whole lot... (spain being the easiest)

I'm not rubbish at games... at GT3 i'm a demon )

I'm using the Duel Shock and finding it ok... never used a wheel on the ps2.. and i doubt i will cos i have nowhere to fix it.

Any tips for winning? should i take care and stay on the road all the stage... or should i go balls out as fast as possible... but increasing the chance of having an 'off'?

also.. is the default car set-up the best?

any really... i'm fine on the Tarmac ones cos they're pish easy anyway.

I can sometimes beat them on a few stages... but rarely win the whole rally..

OZ is a good one... i'm rubbish at that.

No matter how fast i'm going it's never fast enough.. and i'm doing huge fast slides without hitting stuff... i tried going slower but more consistent and was closer to their times.

Don't slide around, you will only lose time that way, try to take it more cleaner way, use brakes more

Currently doing a second time of the three year championship, and winning all rallies with clear distance....just a matter of a good wheel!

Winning is nice but I think the game is too easy; for instance if you make a mistake (or several) in stage you still can win it, which should be almost impossible in a good game.

you lot must be poo hot at this game, as when i make a mistake it costs me about 20secs and a position.
but anyway enough at how useless i am...

i do find that i always win if i do a nice smooth, tidy, keepin it on the track kind of run. it feels dead slow but the end result is a clean run with a good time.
getting aggressive and throwing it around will just slow you down.

its obviously a lot harder for us that only use dualshock than those who use steering wheels.

Well it's very easy to win all the rallies in the "normal mode" then you have 2 new rallies: UK and Greece. Uk I still haven't win and greece in the very hard mode is also very easy ( I won it by a lead with more then 55 sec.)

So, it's possible
