The Mod

After downloading and installing the mod soe problems became apparant, i no longer am able to use auto gears, the game starts but wont change out of 1st gear (

secondly, the cars seem to be much slower than before i installed the mod, my times (with manual gears) are some 16-30 seconds slower, this surely isnt right.

dont know how to fix this as i didnt make the mod, any help would be much appreciated!!!

sounds like fade protection might have been enabled. the best thing for you to do is reinstall your game.

umm.... its ****ed

i completely uninstalled cm3, then reinstalled it, and the problem still remains, no auto gears and 30 seconds slower, the game is visibly slower too.

any more help on the subject?

i noticed on reinstalling that the icon on the desktop is not the standard CM3 icon, its the modded one, how is this possible when installing from the disc???

i removed CM3 by the remove programs list, then searched for all files relating to CM3, the only place that may have CM3 files is the registry, how the hell do i find them from in there?

there is no codemasters section to my registry, so what is the problem, ive tried installin to another location, but still no good. when reinstalled to a new location, the game has all the normal icons, but automatic gears dont work, what could be the problem?

any other help would be appreciated

well Buc delete the whole cmr3 folder and then reinstall the game ...

strange i haven't noticed such bugs but everything is possible

Does sound very much like the copy protection is kicking in. Have you mailed custservices with your problem?

strange how its still doing that. when i was messing around with the cars (basically give me the mgzr in championship) i enabled the fade protection. i reinstalled it and it was fine. very strange

So finally I played it! Some thoughts you forgot that also the Rally_3PC.ico is replaced! (Could someone mail me an original ico?)

I´m not sure about the Fade-Copyprotection so maybe this is related to it: Driving the Citroen Xara sucks big time. When you start the engine it always sound as if on full acceleration and the speed is ridiculous lame, as if too much Environment Mapping is used or the car is to detailed.

I like the new movies from Eurosport they give more atmosphere than the lame Codies One´s.

One question: In the stage Japan as an example the Logo shows SAN REMO, but the stage itself still is Japan, do you plan to include new stages in the future or is this to add the feeling of the "real" Championship?

I like the models of Subaru and the Mitsubishi Lancer!
