Codemasters Read This!!!

I'am posting this tread cause I got bored with CMR 1-3, every time I played CMR nothing changes that's kind of boring!!! YOU, CODEMASTERS GENIUS AT PLAY why don't you think like GENIUSES to make better PLAY???

I have a PC so I don't know how good is CMR on X-BOX noir on Playstation 2. The PC Version gets worse and worse the game scores get lower and lower because the game isn't changing!

This would be probobly too late for CMR 04 on console versions, but on PC it would be possible:

1) Make things more changeable!!! By that I mean changeable weather for every single stage that one time you play it is sunny but the other time it is raining and changes from sunny to rainy and like vise. AND NOT LIKE it has been in all CMR's. I think in CMR 04 codemaster will allow you to use the service time fixing whatever you want to fix. ALSO IN STAGE MODE would be better to set the time of the day that you want to drive in.

2) Why don't you CODEMASTER make the game wih real rally drivers and pilots except Colin McRae and Nicky McGrist!

3) Also people would like all real rallies: GERMANY, MONTE CARLO, CYPRUSS, AUSTRIA, TURKEY, ARGENTINA, NEW ZEALAND. about 15 rallies a game each rallie at least 10 stages

4) All NEWEST car skin would be nice too! Also include more classic cars! PLUS BONUS VEHICLES!!! Let's NOT forget realistic car handeling!!!


CODEMASTERS, IF YOU WANT CMR 04 TO BE LIKE BEST SIMULATOR OF THE YEAR AND YOU WANT TO GET AWARDS THEN YOU SHOULD PUT THEESE FEATURES IN PC VERSION OF YOUR GAME IF NOT THEN YOU PROBOBLY GOT LAME OF FIRST 2 CMR TITLES AND CMR GAMES WILL LOOSE FAME AND YOU WILL LOOSE A LOT OF CMR GAME BUYERS!!!

Go ahead TXT, try to make a game like that by yourself.
Make a game with realistic car handling.

It sounds like you want to much of a game, CMR1 was a really step forward, CMR2 was great with much tracks, CMR3 was ok, by the lack of features.
You cant compare todays games with CMR1 and CMR2! They where the first of their kind.

I agree that it would be cool that have real rallies and drivers, but freakin codemasters didnt buy the licence for that.
Maybe you should have!

Why does only Evolution Studios have the official licence?
Maybe FIA and WRC was hard to discuss with, they maybe didnt want to sell it to whoever came up. I dunno.
Many other licences is included in different games from different devlopers, I cant think of any atm, but there is some.

1. There is different weather throughout the game. Whether you mean random or not? I'm not certain on this but you get a mix of rain sun and wind in CMR 3 and 04.

We also have service stages etc so you can tweak and repair the car as you wish in 04

You can create your own custome rallies too.

2. Real Rally drivers and stages requires the WRC license...Sony own that so we cant use them for legal reasons. We have Colin's license.

3. As above.

4. We have Classic cars and bonus cars as we also had in 3. Skins again are held under license for that year.

I'm sure he means variable as in random weather conditions. Something like in CMR2 just better:

- Decide when the spesific stage are run: night, evening, morning, noon
- Variable (random) weather, sometimes it is sunny and somtimes it snows or rain, and somtimes it's hailing etc in the same spesific stage

When it comes to the licensed driver, can you please take a look at my response in this thread: Ashton was Rubbish!! -Just for you Pearty!!

In short:

In Options there should be a option called "CPU drivers". The option opens a screen where you have all the CPUs that are present in the game with coloumns of "Number", "Initials", "Name", "Manufacturer" and "Ability", like this:

Oddly enough, I commented in the same thread that Codies were doing their best to try and avoid that suggestion. Good one Mt0, this is a feature that needs support too hard to ignore.

But please Zzzzz, cant you input this idea to the dev team? Editable drivernames? Argument: So you can input your friends and fantasy names. (But I will input the real drivers)

MtO_WRC has a great idea there.

By the weather I mean that you shouldn't be able to predict it!!! When you play CMR 2 and 3 once you played that stage the stage will alway have the same weather!!! I WANT CMR TO HAVE RANDOM WEATHER.


AND WHY IT WOULD BE SO HARD TO GET LICENSE FOR CMR 04 IT HAS ENOUGH FAME I CAN BET MONEY ISNT'T THE PROBLEM TOO!!!
