Default Stuttering Gameplay - Fix No 3

I've got a radeon 9800 pro and played the game very smooth for 2 days now with everything to the max, 4xAA set ingame and 16xAF set in the driver panel. Sometimes i got tearing and those things u get when vsync is disabled so i enabled it and went back to game without any problems. Next time starting and plying i noticed that the framecounter (fraps) stick to 42 Fps though i have a refresh rate of 85 Hz and the game did never run under 50 Fps before. Sometimes the Fps counter goes to 80 and then suddenly back again to 42 with no reason. And i had those minifreezes many people complain about. So i tried alot of settings and find out that the problem dissapeared when both af and aa are completly off. Finnaly i solved the problem by disabling vsync and everything is fine now like it was before. The problem is that enabling/disabling vsync needs a restart of the game to work, thats why it took some time for me to figure out what was going wrong. Myabe this issue is already known but perhaps it will help some people. Other thing that is already mentioned here is the kx sound driver wich i've been using since cmr 03. Good luck everyone.
