why is my CMR 2 not running smooth ?

hello

some time ago i bought the colin MR 2 bestseller.
the problem is, i cant play on 1024x768 with all details. i installed just for a test Grand Prix 4, and i was able to play with all details !

so i contacted the support, but all they told me didnt made the gameplay better

i also can play smooth IGI2, UT2, Unreal2...

has this game a bug or isnt it optimised ?

my system:

XP2000
MSI K7T266 pro2/RU
MSI GF3 ti 500
Soundblaster Live Player 5.1
160GB (2x80 IBM) on Raid 0
30GB IDE 1
512MB DDR Ram Cl2
WinME
Detonator 41.09

Grab a copy of Fraps and see what FPS you're getting. Force Feedback seems to make the game jumpy. Soundblaster Live's and CMR2 seem to come up in some conversations as well - not sure about that one tho!
