The new screensaver's been uploaded, and this'll be your first chance to see all the cars...
get it from the downloads section of the microsite HERE

we'd like to have the '03 (or '04 even) versions of a lot of cars, but the problem is they just aren't available to us.

Hmm, it will be released on PS2 for Europe, there's no doubt about that! Unfortunately, some things aren't clear yet, but I think there won't be a release for the US. CMR2005 will be released on PS2, Pal version, but as far as I know, no NTSC version.Anyway, let somebody make this clear.
And about the Focus: why doesn't codemasters take the livery of the Focus we saw in CMR3? That one looks much better than the one from CMR04, and it can't be that hard to swich to that livery at all. Hopefully, things like this can and will be changed before the game's release, even if the 'final' car has been shown yet. I am very looking forward to this game.

CMR3 was a very Ford oriented game [because Colin was driving for them at the time], but now he isn't, the Focus no longer takes centre stage - so the livery is a touchy subject.
It also all comes back to what the official license [owned by Sony] covers, meaning we are limited in what liveries we can apply to our cars. The blue Focus livery wasn't the first choice for CMR2005, but at least the car is still in there, and is one of the top performers.

I also have to say this time's car choice is amazingly good. Thanx for the Cossie, the Sierra, and all the others, of course. Cheers!
