Smile This is the solution of your problem

Set your display resolution to 800 x 600 at 256 colors.
Start the CMR2.exe and your game will run normally. Play one race, end the game and restart your PC. Reset to your usual Settings ( for example: ??? x ??? Pixels at True-colour ) The game will now set to its own resolution at startup and will reset to your configuration by ending the game.

Hi rubens, are you working with an ATI - Chip based VGA-Card ? Then you'll have to active the Twin/Dual Monitor-Mode, otherwise it's possible ,that CMR2 does not work.
Look at the settings tab of your ATI video card software, somewhere there you find the clickbox to force up your system to switch in the Twin-Monitor-Mode.
I'm working with an Nvidia based VGA-Card, so I can't remember where you exactly find this feature, but we did so at the PC of my son and soon everything works fine.
Try out and answer if it works on your PC.
