Codemasters launches 17 Club Football websites – one for every team-dedicated game in the range.

July 10th 2003 (2pm UK time) Get the info, the images and have your say in the forums as Codemasters launches 17 football team-specific websites for every game in its ground-breaking Club Football range. Each site can be accessed from the main Club Football page (www.codemasters.com/clubfootball) or from a direct link (see below for full list).

Creating 17 team-specific Club Football websites was a hugely ambitious project for Codemasters’ online team and represents one of the biggest investments in online promotion ever seen to launch a game brand.

Codemasters’ range of 17 team-dedicated Club Football action games is coming this autumn for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The range delivers an individual and official video game for top UK and European football clubs - from Manchester United Club Football to Real Madrid Club Football.

Each team-dedicated Club Football website is packed with stats and information and profiles both the club and the official game itself. With action-packed screenshots, newsfeeds and team-specific downloads, there’s also the online forum – the place to interact with fellow and rival fans.

The Club Football range will bring each club’s fans closer to being part of their team than any football game has previously. Each title is an exclusively tailored game that has gamers playing for their club in Domestic and Super League seasons, complete with fully-modelled first-team players, the full official 2003/2004 season strips and the real home stadium. With incredible player visuals and intuitive and rewarding gameplay, players can even recreate themselves in the game and join the club’s first team thanks to a powerful player editor.
