main thing i want to know...am i nerfing myself

is 14 str at lvl 10 way too low?

is taking an exotic weapon worth it?

Your build is a very good all around paladin build. With the 12 DEX you get the most benefit from the full plate and CON is never bad
The *******sword is the best one handed weapon, so yes it's worth it if you are going 1hand and shield.
As for 14 STR, no it isn't. 14 STR means +2 bonus on attack and damage, so it's pretty good. Combined with the weapon focus you get a +3 bonus on attack with your prefered weapons. You don't really need a lot base STR (for feats and such) and you will probably get some STR items by level 10.
The only possible problem I see is you getting unlucky and not finding a good magical ******* sword, but then again you can always buy one or get on from a friend.

thanks i feel confident with it now about not finding a b sword, i can cope with an axe/sword until that time :P
