Hi peeps
ok, this is probably easy for a lot of you out there so I'd appreciate some help. As you can guess, I'm new to this, been playing for a few days now and have got my Elf Champion to level 8. However, whilst looking for Crookdell I am getting jumped by 3 Goblins at the same time (I think level 11 or 12) and getting royaly creamed. I can take them out one on one but all 3 is definately a bit of a problem. What I am trying to figure out, is can I target all 3 at once? or do I try to get in between all 3 and slash away or what(ie run away). As I say one on one is fine but multiple assaults, I don't know how to go about it? Any help would be appreciated. Finally, as I am REALLY new to this, I've seen people mentioning Aoe and Mob can someone tell me what that is in english (laughing) and any other abbreviations I should be aware of. Thanks |

You wanna use all of your "AoE - Area of Effect" Skills. (the ones that hit multiple targets at once) over and over again whislt focusing you main attacks on one at a time. You should be able to take on at least 3 "mobs" (Name for monsters) at a time if they are all your level.
So in between your AoE's focus on a single target at a time, the faster you take each one out the sooner you stop that extra mob from doing damage to you. By the time you have taken the first one down, the others will be around abouts half to three quaters health left. By the time you nail the second one. The last one should be almost dead.

I agree. Three mobs that have several levels on you are always going to be a problem - levelling up until you unlock the second AOE skill will help.
I've now played my Champion to level 14 and I'm stilll pretty wary of crowd fights when playing solo.

A big thanks to all of you
![]() with your help and a little looking around I have a better idea of how to take on multiple enemies. If I'm reading this correctly a good starting point would be to enable fervour, start with a wild attack to build fervour and then hit them with blade wall (although apparently I have to try and keep them in front as it is a frontal attack. Once I hit lvl 10 I can then use Blade storm which then gives me 360 degrees of assault. Anyway, it's something I'll have tp practice, preferably with someone weaker initially - laughing. Thanks again, see you out there |

As mentioned
Mob = monster (its not the acctual meaning of the abbrevation but meh) AoE = Area of effect Blade wall is about 180 degrees while Blade storm is 360. I always have fervour toggled on, its the first thing I do when I log on, and I never take it off. (Note that it does shut down if you get defeated)
