Captain's and the use of shields?

He, its nice and prety cool that we can use shields? ok not heavy shields but just normal ones , but is it any usefull? i feel like im the only captain whit a shield on my server and i never seen any other captain use one, so i just like to share some views on this, cuz i think we dont get that skill for nonsence.

Only reason to use shields are when/if you are tanking and want to take less
damage or if you are on healing duty and want some more stats.

Then again when tanking you kinda need to use a helbeard for that extra threat.

So mayby shields only will be used when healbotting.

Depends on the situation. If someone else is taking all the aggro anyway, I'll use me big hammer, but if some evildoer starts say shooting arrows at me, I'll switch to shield+sword in a heartbeat.
