By the way, what is the trigger to have "Overwhelming Odds" in the class Deed Log ? I am level 27 and nothing, even though i used several times Exploit Opening.

It really depends on what kind of fellowship you are in, if you are soloing or not, etc. I tend to ask the tank what debuff he'd prefer, or what I'd think is best; blinding the mob, slowing him down, or more chance of critical attacks. Then I'd equip the trait (this is all dependant on the place and time available).

In a general fellowship I'd go for top three: Appraising Eye (most important debuff), Perplexing Riddle, Overwhelming Odds (which I think starts at level 30+).

Soloing, I tend to go for: Appraising Eye, Hidden Dagger, Strike From Shadows, Side-Step, Focused Eye.

But it depends what your game style is as a burglar, I crowd control a lot and debuff before thinking of dealing damage, so my traits would be equipped differently to damage dealing burglar. Also if one would like traits equipped according to +Agility, that would also be a different setup. To each their own

As Mercenarri said, the best traits depend on what you want - I personally build for grouping but a PvMP build would have completely different traits slotted, a PvE soloer would want different traits again, someone that specced for best possible stealth+backstabbing would have different traits to someone that specced for best possible group utility, and so on.

As for Overwhelming Odds, don't bother with it. It'll trigger at a set level (like the Emnity deeds) and you just have to contribute to 150 conjunctions to get the trait. But the buffs is gives you only last for 15 seconds, are dependant on getting combos off rather than your specific colour, and aren't even that impressive - it's a complete waste of a trait slot regardless of your specific build.

I fail to undestand why Perplexing Riddle isnt on. In my oppinion its the best trait.

Currently I use.

Perplexing Riddle (5 sec stun, 25 sec daze)
Trickster (Mass dust in the eyes, quickly give all hostiles 20% miss chance)
Footpad (+2 stealth level)
Side-Step (Additional evasion is always good)
Strike from Shadows (I dont like to miss with any attacks from stealth)

If I had a 6th trait slot id use Hidden Dagger. I often cant decide which i like better in regards to Strike from Shadows.

This is what class traits I use. This isnt for soloing, im sure there is another combination which is more efficient. But this setup is good for fellowships.

I dont use Overwhelming Odds for the same reasons as Beorrahn states. 15 secs with +5% damage isnt really worth it.

I dont use Appraising eye eighter as the normal one does 8% additional damage and the imprroved 10% - I dont find the 2% worth it.
