Cricket 2005 is awful

Does anyone else think EA's cricket 2005 is rubbish, its worse than their last one and that was pretty bad, cant wait for BLIC 2005, judging by the demo it wipes the floor with EA's effort, has anyone played the full game yet, if so what do you think of it.

It all depends on your taste. I personally think I will like both as I have read quite a few threads on planetcricket.net giving positive comments about Cricket 2005. At the same time I have also seen threads with postive comments about Brian Lara International Cricket 2005.

cricket 2005 is crap-i mean they hav tacky designs on bats, they hav rubbish batting and the bowling is appuling my friend's got it and he's going 2 take it back

have you HEARD the commentary on cricket 2005? One sentence sounds like its stitched together from about five different conversations, nothing against richie beneau though - can't spell!

Yup, EA's commentry is awful. When your in one of the ICC events and Codies have had the legal ability to use the player names in commentry - WOW, it;s like real life alost!

I had Criket 2005, IMHO< the batting was absolutely awful. I traded it in and got BLIC. Wow. Just wow. The real bats, the way career player is done (having to earn points rather than just setting all your abilities to 100%), the bowling autheticity, the idea of clasic matches.

You just get the idea BLIC was made by cricket fans, rather than EA who probbably call wicket keeper "a backstop."

On a positive note you get proper graphics and the players look real, on the downside the commentary is so annoying. Have you spotted that all commentary on these games has been derived from Lara 98? It's just been changed subtly.

Remember, this isn't really the place to be talking about EA's game. It's good that you like BLIC, but let's keep it to the Codemasters games on here (unless making direct comparisons).
